What cooking facilities are available?
The small kitchenette in each bungalow is only designed for basic self-catering. The fridge is a small bar fridge size and there is also a microwave, kettle, nespresso pod coffee machine, and BabyQ BBQ in each bungalow along with oil, salt, pepper, crockery and glassware for two people. There is a small table and chairs on the balcony for dining.
How can we get around Mission Beach if we don’t have a vehicle?

When is stinger season? Can I swim in the sea?
Mission Beach is located in Tropical North Queensland, which is affected by marine stinger season from October to April (approx.) each year. During this season, we recommend swimming in the designated net (located a 5-minute walk to the south of the property), wearing a stinger suit (can be purchased at the store in North Mission Beach), or enjoying glorious views of the ocean from your own private beachfront pool.
Where can I see a Cassowary?
As our Bungalows are located within a 5-acre tropical rainforest estate, we often have the pleasure of viewing these magnificent creatures on our very own doorstep as they graze on some of the native berries and fruit that can be found within the grounds. We ask that our guests do not approach or feed the birds, or any other wildlife you may encounter, but admire them from a distance, or from the inside of your accommodation.
How do we book Tour & Activities?
We suggest booking all tours and activities directly with the providers. For other general information and what to do and see in our region, the Mission Beach Visitor Information Centre has a wealth of information they can assist you with enquiries via the phone, on their website, or in person once you arrive in Mission Beach.
